Halloween Sound Effects
Halloween is a great time. What other holiday would allow you to take a creepy sound effects CD, some fake spiderwebs made out of cotton, and fake ghosts made of tissue paper, and turn it into a party? A lot of it is cheesy, but no one minds. You see, Halloween is a tradition. It is a holiday that everyone remembers, because it would thrill and frighten them as children. Kids get candy, get to dress up, and get to stay up late after bedtime. But most of all, they get to play games of imagination. They can pretend that the ghosts and ghouls really are out on Halloween!
That's why I have always loved to use Halloween sound effects to make my house creepier. A lot of people take a Halloween sound effects CD, put it on loop, and just leave it playing there. I guess this establishes the right mood, and most of the Halloween sound effects CDs are pretty funny, but it really is not enough for me. I like to go the extra mile and create a really creepy effect. That's why I have all my Halloween sound effects linked to booby-traps.
You see, I always set my house up in the same way, year after year. I will have a few jack-o'-lanterns in the window, but other than that my house will look pretty dark. The porch light will be on, so trick-or-treaters will come up to the door, but they will not be completely sure if anyone is inside. When they approach the door, they break an infrared beam that triggers a hidden Halloween sound effect tape. There will be silence for a moment, but just as they are getting ready to go, the Halloween sound effects will kick in. They will hear spooky moaning behind them, turn around, and see me jumping out in my Halloween costume. I will be dressed up as an ax wielding psychopath. It works every time. They run for a block!
My wife tried to talk me out of using my Halloween sound effects tape. She said it was cruel and unfair to the kids. I couldn't agree less. Kids love a fright. That is what Halloween is all about. When they hear the Halloween sound effects playing and then I jump out at them, it probably gives them a thrill that they will remember for years to come. I don't feel bad for that!

It's that one night of the year when the creeps come out, and the spirits roam free. The children prepare themselves with costumes and make-up. The parents fix bowls of candy and goodies for all the little visitors. Yes indeed folks, I'm talking about Halloween. What are you going as this October, 31st? Today more than ever, Halloween is celebrated across the country. I say this because of the cool costumes and Halloween stuff that fills the superstores whenever that spooky night grows close. While our parents may have struggled to make due with toilet paper wrapped from head to toe in order to go as a mummy, these days we are blessed with much more realistic options. Virtually anything you can imagine can be found. The Internet has made it all possible.
What kind of funky Halloween stuff do you like to decorate your humble abode with as that Fall celebration draws near? Do you stick to the classic cotton spider webs and plastic crawlers, or do you go for more of the new-age fog machines and cackling voices that tend to scare children right out of their costumes? Or maybe you like to mix it up with a medley of both. Regardless of what Halloween stuff you prefer, you can find it all these days with the mere click of a mouse. Do you have a PC or Mac? Do you have Internet access? This is all you need to make a fun and spooky Halloween night for you and your family. One thing I love about the World-Wide-Web is the vast selection of costumes. No matter what you're hoping to be, you can find that original costume for a decent price in cyberspace. Last year my 7 year old wanted to be a she-devil. What do you know; I actually found that costume online in no time. There is infinite Halloween stuff to sort through and choose from.
If you really do some browsing on your home computer, you will discover an array of Halloween activities and games for children. Halloween Wallpaper
I a m ready for fall, ladies and gentlemen. Do you want to know why? I'll tell you why. For one, I am sick and tired of this stuffy summer heat. I mean, I need a break from the 100 degree afternoons. I'm ready for 65 and breezy. Doesn't that sound perfect? Can't you just smell that crisp fall air, and feel that pleasant wind as it whips colorful leaves in all directions? Ah, I'm almost there. Okay, I'm back now. Anyway, I am also ready fro the big spooky night that only comes once each year. You know the one that provides all the tiny vampires and goblins with loads of candy and fun. Yes indeed, it is Halloween I speak of. I even stuck up my Halloween wallpaper earlier today, just to get in the mood. No, I'm not talking about on my living room wall; I'm referring to the Halloween wallpaper on my laptop.
Do you enjoy Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, or Halloween wallpaper on your computer monitor? Which occasion is your absolute favorite? I think we all have one holiday out of the year that really gets us excited. For me it is Halloween. This is why a nice frightening dose of Halloween wallpaper is in order. I think I have collected nearly 100 of these babies. The one that graces my screen as we speak is the ever-popular Michael Myers. This is without a doubt the epitome of Halloween wallpaper. I mean come on; it is the king of Halloween himself. Everybody has to watch "Halloween" at some point in their lives. If they fail to do so, it's plain and simple treason. Okay, so maybe it's not that severe, but it truly is a classic horror flick.
What is your favorite Halloween wallpaper? Have you gotten into the spirit yet and slapped it onto your computer screen? I'm speaking metaphorically of course. That haunting background can really get you in the mood for a night of tricks and treats. Especially the treats. I think I may have to run out and buy some candy corn and chocolate. If you are in search of wonderfully scary Halloween wallpaper for your Mac or PC, I will tell you how to find one. First of all, there is no reason to pay for wallpapers and screensavers since they are free these days. Simply hop online, punch in a few keywords like, "Halloween wallpaper" and you're golden.
