Halloween Gift Baskets
If you are considering something different for the holidays of fall then you may want to consider Halloween gift baskets this year. These festive arrangements can be bought already assembled or you can make your own. This unique craft will be a hit with kids of all ages.
Many people immediately think that a Halloween gift basket would be a huge arrangement. This kind of item is commonly used for presents and special occasions. One family I have become very close to over the years does not celebrate the Halloween holiday. Instead, the family spends time playing games or they may go out to a movie instead. This project had to be approached very carefully because of the parents' opposition to many of the themes of the Halloween holiday. Instead of constructing Halloween gift baskets in black and orange I decided to use red and white. I chose these colors for a specific theme.
Instead of making formal Halloween gift baskets, I made night out at the movies baskets. The items I chose included popcorn balls arranged in movie theatre popcorn holders. I added some of their favorite sodas as well as other movie theater treats. Under all of the treats were nice, comfortable fall pajamas for each of the girls.
The girls were thrilled with the night out at the movies theme and they seemed to forget all about missing dress up for the holiday when they found their pajamas. I also made sure to include a fun movie in the Halloween gift baskets as well.
Not everyone celebrates every holiday. I have made many Halloween gift baskets over the years of all shapes and sizes. The night at the movies baskets were just as fun to make and I had a great opportunity to share a little bit of holiday spirit without celebrating the actual holiday.
The other kids in the neighborhood did receive traditional Halloween gift baskets filled with spooky treats and they were thrilled. I was just glad that I could do something a little extra special for my special family as well.

BOO! That is one nifty little term that will never be played out. Say it on Halloween; say it while leaping out of the closet at your grandma; heck, say it to your boss when he least expects it. Ha, now that would be priceless. Scream it in his face like a true ghost would. Okay, you realize I'm only joking here, right? I don't really expect you to start shouting BOO in your supervisor's face. In fact, I don't think I would recommend it at all. Anyway, about those wonderful and classic halloween sound effects. No, but really, this fun and exciting night is about candy, friendly gags, and frolicking with friends. It's a night where you can enjoy wearing someone or something else's skin. That's just so cool if you give it some thought. Pretend until your little heart is content. Gobble down chocolate until you bust. This is what it's all about!
