Anyone need any costume jewellery for this upcoming Halloween holiday? Please don't give me the spiel about how it's not really a holiday. Believe me; I get the picture, but still consider it the coolest day of the year. Remember how great it was back when you a kid, and doing all that trick-or-treating? Yeah, the nostalgia is kicking in. I certainly never forgot how much I loved heading down a dark and spooky street on that chilly October night. I shuffled quickly with my massive treat bag in hand. I wanted to fill that baby as full as I could possibly get it. After all, I had to stock up big time. Halloween only comes once a year, remember? Once I had my bag stuffed with goodies, it was time to haul it all back home for a routine sorting. I think every kid on the planet does this. You just have to separate the chocolate from the lollipops and so on. These days I still enjoy that creepy night; however, I live it vicariously through my little girl. Well, the trick-or-treating part anyway. And now I have the pleasure of sorting through her treats.
The Internet is absolutely loaded with great Halloween costume jewellery, outfits, fake weapons, scary masks, and more. Why couldn't they have had this when I was a little kid back in the 80s? Yeah, you'd better believe I would have been all over this in no time flat. I would have been picking out my costume months ahead of time. As you may already be aware, this is the surefire way to get the one you truly want. I was just surfing through oodles of Halloween costume jewellery and masks last month. Once I had discovered that my seven year old daughter wanted to be a werewolf for Halloween this year, I was on it. I surfed through a dozen different websites in search of the perfect werewolf costume. She wanted one that would scare other children. Hey, it sounded good to me. That's what October 31st is all about, right? Eventually I spotted that creepy and deviant looking wolf costume. Now we're all set.
Don't put that costume jewellery and Halloween mask off until October 29th. Get on the web now and start browsing for the best stuff available. Every year these companies tend to out-do themselves. This means more realistic looking costumes every Halloween. Enjoy them! It only happens once a year.

Costume jewelry is an asset in every woman's wardrobe
There's always room in every woman's closet for more clothes and more jewelry. The trouble is, most of us are hindered in our appetites for these fun fashion items by a budget that doesn't cooperate. However, with a little smart planning, you can have your cake and eat it too. There's no reason not to have a perfectly fabulous wardrobe and plenty of costume jewelry to make it all come together.
The trick to having a clothes wardrobe that is not extensive, but seems so, is careful choices in clothing that coordinate with as many other pieces as possible. An abundant selection of costume jewelry pieces can multiply, exponentially, the variety of looks you can achieve.
This buying strategy makes the LBD and a variety of classically styled separates indispensable. A half-dozen each of sweaters, blouses, vests, skirts and pants is all it takes. Variety in fabrics and textures also play a big part in your successful versatile wardrobe.
Making the right choices in your costume jewelry is the icing on the cake. A simple patterned summer dress becomes a party standout with modern Italian costume jewelry in coordinated, eye-catching bright colors. The LBD is stunning with a jewel-toned sequined belt set on a black velvet background.
Your color schemes are important. Everyone's got favorite colors. Some relate to your personality and associations, while others are complimentary to your hair color or skin coloring. For example, a woman with an outgoing personality, a creamy complexion and a stunning head of shiny black hair probably includes a fire-engine red section in her closet. A more delicate blonde with green eyes and a rosy complexion is likely to be happy in sea greens and shades of blue and violets.
Your costume jewelry selections should span a variety of styles to suit the flavor of the occasion. For example, you'll want some appropriate for more formal occasions, everyday wear for the office and some just plain fun, trendy looks. If you don't care for the more conventional dressy occasion costume jewelry, with faux pearls and diamonds, look for some of the Renaissance-styled pieces for a hip look suited to a night at the theatre. Cloisonne, painted enamel pieces or simple bangles and hoop style earrings are good for everyday use. The fun, trendy costume jewelry, such as a ceramic Betty Boop-in-a-red-dress pin or colorful ethnic necklaces add personality and sparkle to casual costumes.
If your clothing choices consist of simple, classic styles, your entire costume jewelry collection can be worn with just about everything you own. A plain grey suit partnered with your Betty Boop pin and several bangle bracelets in red, bright yellow and black enamel is great for the office. The same suit, teamed with ornate Renaissance styled necklaces and rings is dressy enough for a presentation for a client.
Costume jewelry is inexpensive and endows a limited wardrobe with a chameleon quality, giving all your costumes many fashion faces.

Costume Party
Costume party
Halloween used to be my second favorite holiday, as a child. Obviously, Christmas was my favorite. I loved getting dressed up in costume for Halloween and trick-or-treating. It was the one night of the year that my parents would let me wander the dark neighborhood with friends and feast on candy when I returned. Of course, now children just aren't as safe wandering the streets without supervision.
My daughter turned seven this fall and requested a costume party for Halloween. Remembering how much I used to love to attend a costume party, I readily agreed. She came up with a list of people from her class that she wanted to invite. Suddenly, I was faced with 30 kids in costumes running around hyped up on sugar. That was a bit intimidating. However, my husband and I agreed that with the right plan, a costume party would be a huge success and everyone would have a great time. She picked out the invitations that she wanted to send to everyone, and I prepared all of them. Of course, the costume party invitations told kids to wear a costume.
In planning this Halloween themed costume party, I found some great recipes that would be perfect and started to come up with some games. I wanted to make cupcakes and decorate them with spiders and orange icing. My husband started to plan some spooky games for the girls. He said that he loved the game called "Guess What" when he went to parties. He'd have certain objects in bowls and blindfolded, the kids had to reach in and guess what they were by touching them. He would use grapes and say that they were eyeballs, slimy rice would be maggots, jello and jelly would be brains and cold spaghetti would be worms. He was having way too much fun coming up with ideas. He wanted to be sure that her first costume party would be as much fun as possible.
I filled little goody bags with treats and made some other snacks as well. My husband then decided to turn our garage into a haunted house for the kids to walk through. He spent hours out there getting prepared. My daughter was ecstatic about having her costume party. She was sure that all of the kids would be talking about it for months afterwards. Finally, the day of her costume party arrived and she was in her costume hours before anyone would arrive. She could barely contain her excitement when she was helping me to get everything ready. As the doorbell rang, one by one the kids trooped in for their costume party, all dressed up and smiling. As an adult, it was one of the most exhausting parties I've ever hosted and attended, but for her - it was a successful costume party.
