Beauty And The Beast Costume

Almost everyone I know has a special place in their heart for Halloween. Whether you are into ghosts and demons, or into fairies and princesses, there is something about getting to dress up and pretend you are something different than you actually are that is captivating to the imagination. Usually, everyone in my circle of friends and my family dresses up as something different, but this year I thought we would have a theme costume party. Everyone would have to wear a beauty and the beast costume.

Of all Halloween costumes, I think beauty and the beast costumes are some of the best. Of course, I have always had a weakness for fairytale costumes. Last year, for example, me and my friends all dressed up in Peter Pan costumes. I was Tinkerbell, who has always been one of my favorites. We were a big hit at the costume party that we went to, but this year I think we will be even better. With each of us wearing a beauty and the beast costume, we will all fit in flawlessly together. And as a bonus, I think dressing in a beauty and the beast costume is less common than dressing in a Peter Pan one. I am quite certain that I saw very few beauties, beasts, or dancing pieces of cutlery at the party last year.

Of course, it is not enough to get a store-bought beauty and the beast costume. Disney did a good job adapting this classic fairy tale to our modern age, but I think that I can do am even better in imagining it myself. Anyway, whether you are wearing a beauty and the beast costume or something else entirely, it is always better to make your own costume. Half of the fun is in the preparations, after all.

Before you start on something as ambitious as a beauty and the beast costume, you should make sure that you have everything planned out. It might be easy to throw together a pirate costume or a Robin Hood costume, but a beauty and the beast costume takes some planning. The beauty must be as beautiful as possible, and the beast as beastly. Otherwise, much of the effect is lost. The romance of the story is seeing these two disparate souls brought together, despite the fact that they embody opposite principles. If the costumes are only so-so, the whole effect is lost.

Do you have children? If the answer is yes, then you're probably fully aware of their habits. Yes indeed, they do have some strange ones. Oh, and of course they have some fun and amusing ones as well. One of the most prominent and exciting habits that I believe pretty much all children share is the desire to dress up. What does your child like to pretend he/she is for the day? My seven year old daughter goes completely crazy with this game. She loves to make-believe that she is anyone from a witch to a vampire to a princess to a super hero to a cartoon character. It literally changes by the day. More recently she got all dressed up in a blues clues costume my mother had given her last Halloween. I tell you, these kids and their imaginations.

What would you say to a blues clues costume for this Halloween? Does that sound right up your alley, or is it simply not spooky enough? Now, I have to say that my little girl in her blues clues costume looks more cute than anything. However, this is a blast on trick-or-treating night. Come on people, get with the program. It's all about how adorable you look. Especially older folks love little children in their cute Pooh Bear or blues clues costume. Looking sweet and innocent is the ticket to getting twice as much candy. And you know you want all that sugar on Halloween night. Heck, that's what it's all about, right? I'm 30 years old, and I still year for that wonderful selection of treats.

Blues Clues Costume

I know that the show is popular but I never realized how much my daughter loved the character until we passed Blues Clues costume in the mall. My toddler went ballistic over the adorable item but it was way too big for her to wear. I was almost tempted to buy the Blues Clues costume anyway just so she could play with it.

This got me inspired to go on a search for a Blues Clues costume that would fit my toddler. This was not as easy as it seems. You would think that there would be tons of this kind of kids dress up outfits for Halloween but there really were not. I went from store to store hoping to find one for her but I wound up empty-handed.

The Blues Clues television program is a favorite of my daughter's and it is a favorite of mine as well. I love that she is learning problem-solving skills through the program. She stops to watch the characters dance and sing and at times I think that she is talking to the main character who directs his attention specifically to the audience.

The program also works on the child's meta-cognitive skills. My daughter is actually thinking about thinking as she interacts with the television. I thought that the Blues Clues costume would be perfect for this season. It is also perfect for this age group. However, the sizes run so big for our little ones who love the programs.

I guess that my daughter would probably enjoy seeing another child in the Blues Clues costume rather than wearing it her self. I just thought that it would be great for her to dress as her favorite puppy character this year even if she had to stand in front of the mirror in order to truly appreciate it.

My husband mentioned that a Blues Clues costume is a boy's outfit for the Halloween holiday. I had to explain to him that Blue is really a girl dog. He was a little confused than he mentioned that there was a pink dog on the program. Magenta is a girl puppy as well.

I did find a cheap Blues Clues costume but I wasn't thrilled with the quality. I guess that my daughter is going to have to wait to wear the Blues Clues costume that we originally saw. I am getting it just because I know that she will still love the program when she is big enough to fit into the costume.
